Please, please, please, no hate.

Today, for the first time in several years, I went outside with shorts & a tank on. I suffer from severe excoriation. Now, in this picture, I had to edit some soars out as they were too gory. Before going outside I had to catch my breath. I was so afraid someone was going to give me a nasty look, or I was going to be attacked verbally or physically because of my body. I went for a 15 minute walk and not one person said or did anything rude. I passed one of my friends during the beginning of my walk and asked if my arms & legs were too gory and if I should leave, she smiled and told me she didn’t even notice. Today, for the first time in several years, I went outside with shorts and a tank on. Today, for the first time in several years, I wasn’t ashamed. Today, for the first time in several years, I was proud of my body.
